Dr. Theroux has published articles on pain control in orthodontics, practice management and orthodontic retention.
He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on the above topics.
Dr. Theroux is especially proud of the publication and professional acceptance of his “Theroux Phase One Essix” retainer, which was featured in the July 2003 issue of the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics.
His article on the retainer was chosen as a “must read” by Practical Reviews in Orthodontics.
Dr. Theroux has had the honor of presenting at the largest orthodontic meeting in the world, the Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists, on three occasions since 2001 and will be speaking at the meeting again in 2008.
In July, 2007, Dr. Theroux presented the Theroux Phase One Essix Retainer at the European Association of Orthodontists Annual Meeting in Berlin, Germany. He is currently preparing for another lecture at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session, to he held in May of 2008.Dr. Theroux was also very excited to be asked to lecture on "Critical Clinical Decision-Making in Orthodontics" at the 7th International Orthodontic Congress & 4th Meeting of the World Federation of Orthodontists in Sydney, Australia, in February of 2010.
